The view from my window
The view from my window, is a funny one. I mean its not hard to see what's going on below our flat, as we still don't have blinds! Sure I am nosey, that is true too :) Every time the door down stairs opens or closes I like to know who is coming in and out :) I think I will be one of those very annoying old people ;)
Anyhoo, soon - I say very soon, I will no longer get to see the hordes of police, packs of drunk uni students and numerous 'special' people who congreate under my house. We have been officially told we need to be out of the flat by 29th July. But praise the Lord, we came to find a great flat yesterday! Just in the nick of time ;)
Our flat mate jane left us last weekend (so sad! Its not the same without her!), Dish and Leonie move today, Al and Sandra have already gone and soon the Aussie version of Friends will come to an end :( Its been the best of times and the worst of times ... no just the best of times. What a pleasure it has been to have a family here that you can know will always be there for you, weather you need chilli power (like I did last night), or a chat because you are about to loose your mind, or to have a few drinks with at the local or to move a monsterous couch trough a teeny tiney hall way! Knowing I wont have this family in such close proximity for much longer, makes me home sick more than ever.
So, don't forget me please, do write - and I will let you know all about my new home v soon!
Love and hugs,
Melissa
p.s pictures of what I see out my window go here ... but I have to load them yet!
