A piece of Perth in London!

This past week I have had the pleasure of having my very good friend Bec here in London. It was a whirlwind time as we did the tourist thing of London and then jetted off to Edinburgh .. but it was the best thing ever. Just what I needed! It was so refreshing to be with true friends. I felt encouraged, challenged, relaxed and safe to be me with this special family and I have been so blessed as a result!Truth was, when they left I was a bit down, as I realised how far away from the place I love and the people I love I am here! However, this is where I am at the mo, and there are times I love it. I suppose its about being content where ever you are! However, lots of love to you all as I do miss you!

Here is a bit of a picture story of what we got up to in London! Ethan, Bec and Andrews son is my new buddy! I does love him. Though he seems to think I am a bit weird at times. Laughs his head off whenever I blow my nose, which is a lot at the moment as it is hayfever season! As you can see I was a bit chuffed with him and took lots of photos of him. So cute! It was fun showing Bec, Andrew and Ethan around as I got to see a bit more of London myself!

Day one, We started the adventures on Portabello Road Notting Hill just near where they were staying. Note the scrummy cup cakes from Humming Bird cake shop in the back ground! They then booked on the London Eye for an over view of London and I baby sat :) Then since it was soooo hot for the first time since Easter we enjoyed a walk all around the monopoly board!

Day two, Andrew was able to score tickets to Becs long time dream show to go see on stage, so they went off the theatre and I got to babysit little E and paddington bear! Later that night we chilled in Hyde Park and Bec and I had a girls night in with a few bottles of wine ;)

Day three started with a bit of a hick up with both bec and I being late for our very lovely high tea at the ritz .. something to do with the wine the night before. Anyhoo, we had a lovely time. In the arvo the travellers needed to do a shop so we hit Oxford Street for some good old fashion London mental shopping!

Day four was tourist central with a trip on the 'on off red bus tour'. Special high light was attending Evensong at St Pauls and getting locked in the chior stalls! Dont ask ;)

After all that we packed and jetted off the Edinbrugh! More about that soon! x
