It's the thing to do

Its the thing to do isn't it? .....To create a blog when you go away? I mean that is why I am doing it! I don’t want to be left out! ;)

With a blog you see, everyone can take a little sneak preview of your life, feel involved and connected to your world and experiences (then of course update others of all your deep thoughts and challenges) .... and they don’t even have to contact your personally to get the info! Cheeky!!

Well I hope that is not true of you my blog reader friend! I mean, sure I hope you read all my fantastic entries and tell everyone how brilliant a time I am having (I hope!) .... but please don’t leave it there! Do email me (you'll find my address in my profile) and keep me up to date with your life! I might get lonely over here and need an email from you to brighten my day :)

Where am I going, that warrants this blog you may ask? Well I am off to Japan on December 29 to visit my very wonderful sister and her lovely husband, who, by the time I get there I would not have seen for a whole year! I cant wait to get a glimpse of their world (check out their very exciting blog at mattandjess.blogspot.com) Each of them has been teaching English during their time in Japan.

After 2 weeks with Matt and Jess I will fly to London to live in a house with 5 teachers from lil old Perth. One of whom is a close friend Tanya who I know through church. Dave, my boyfriend will be in London during this time seeking work and we hope to have lots of adventures together! He will arrive before me after spending a month in Peru traveling the Inca Trail! I aim to get work in London, God willing as a youth worker. I certainly need your prayers!

Anyhoo, that’s my first entry done! Gee this is essay :) .... Not that I ever had a problem filling spaces with words (written or verbal!) just ask my mother or anyone who has ever received a birthday card from me!

Anyhooo, thanks for dropping by ... stick around, because there is more exiting installments to come!

Melissa :)
